Kerry discovered the Fat Chick Press when she purchased a packet of our floral greeting cards from a flower farm market. She and fiancé Mike spend all their free time in Maine, and they were excited to be getting married in the hamlet of Norway, Maine. 

Their invitation suite was letterpress printed on luscious, bright white Crane stock in steely blue ink, previewing the bridesmaids’ gowns. Various botanical illustrations evoked the beauty and lushness of the setting, while still being elegant and sophisticated. We wrapped the suite in a full-length belly band, and the weekend’s wedding events and hotel accommodations were printed digitally on the reverse. Fat Chick Press designed a rubber stamp, which we used to seal the invitation package, and the stamp re-appeared on welcome bags and menus.

Envelopes were addressed digitally in a coordinating typeface, and lined with paper letterpressed with airy fronds. We selected a pair of postage stamps for the envelope: a vintage LOVE stamp, and the current State of Maine stamp, so the philatelic message happily proclaimed “Love Maine”!
