Eve and Mike returned to beautiful Waitsfield, Vermont, where they were engaged, for their wedding celebrations. When the bride and her mum visited the Fat Chick Press workshop, they decided a simple yet classic invitation suite would reflect the rustic elegance of their ceremony and its setting. We suggested several understated design options that complemented the venue.

We started by designing an elegant EM monogram and used it on both the invitation and the RSVP card. We framed the monogram with a laurel, blind debossed on the invitation, and letterpress printed in pewter grey on the RSVP card. We also used the monogram for the wax seal.

The ensemble is letterpress printed on luscious 100% cotton paper, tied in a blush of silk ribbon that matched the bridesmaids’ gowns. We letterpressed a floral envelope liner to match the silk ribbon, and had the envelopes addressed digitally in the same typeface we’d used for the suite.
