When Elaina and Christian got engaged, there was no doubt where they’d be married, or where they’d celebrate afterwards—the Greek Orthodox church whose icons were painted by Elaina’s uncle, and the Peabody Essex Museum with its rich cultural history, a place they frequently visit.

While looking at the couple's engagement photographs (taken at the PEM during an exhibition by Anila Quayyum Agha), we decided that one of the creative options we would offer could feature a pattern reminiscent of the artist’s work, and were thrilled when the couple selected this direction.

Fat Chick Press letterpress printed onto bright white, lusciously thick Crane paper using navy ink; the reverse of the invitation card was letterpressed printed with the pattern, and we letterpress printed the navy envelope liners in silver ink.

We wrapped the invitation in a laser-cut belly band covering the couple’s names, so guests enjoyed a lovely reveal moment when they opened the invitation envelope.
